Sensible Americans Pre-Amble to the Constitution

My freind Ruby  ( God bless her heart, I love that woman!) in Florida Sent me this today..I had to read it out loud to the Hubby and I couldn't help but say a hearty passionate AMEN! after each line!

This is probably the best e-mail I've seen in a long, long time.

The following has been attributed to State Representative Mitchell Aye from GA. This guy should run for President one day...And we should vote for him (:~)

New Preamble to the Constitution:

"We the sensible people of the United States, in an attempt to help everyone get along, restore some semblance of justice, avoid more riots, keep our nation safe, promote positive behavior, and secure the blessings of debt-free liberty to ourselves and our great-great-great-grandchildren, hereby try one more time to ordain and establish some common sense guidelines for the terminally whiny, guilt ridden, delusional, and other liberal bed-wetters. We hold these truths to be self evident: that a whole lot of people are confused by the Bill of Rights and are so dim they require a Bill of NON-Rights."

ARTICLE I: You do not have the right to a new car, big screen TV, or any other form of wealth.

More power to you if you can legally acquire them, but no one is guaranteeing anything.

ARTICLE II: You do not have the right to never be offended.

This country is based on freedom, and that means freedom for everyone -- not just you! You may leave the room, turn the channel, express a different opinion, etc.; but the world is full of idiots, and probably always will be.

ARTICLE III: You do not have the right to be free from harm.

If you stick a screwdriver in your eye, learn to be more careful, do not expect the tool manufacturer to make you and all your relatives independently wealthy.

ARTICLE IV: You do not have the right to free food and housing.

Americans are the most charitable people to be found, and will gladly help anyone in need, but we are quickly growing weary of subsidizing generation after generation of professional couch potatoes who achieve nothing more than the creation of another generation of professional couch potatoes. (This one is my pet peeve...get an education and go to work!... We will gladly help you acheive the education part....don't expect everyone else to take care of you!)

ARTICLE V: You do not have the right to free health care.

That would be nice, but from the looks of public housing, we're just not interested in public health care.

ARTICLE VI: You do not have the right to physically harm other people.

If you kidnap, rape, intentionally maim, or kill someone, don't be surprised if the rest of us want to see you fry in the electric chair.

ARTICLE VII: You do not have the right to the possessions of others.

If you rob, cheat, or coerce away the goods or services of other citizens, don't be surprised if the rest of us get together and lock you away in a place where you still won't have the right to a big screen color TV or a life of leisure.

ARTICLE VIII: You do not have the right to a job.

All of us sure want you to have a job, and will gladly help you along in hard times, but we expect you to take advantage of the opportunities of education and vocational training laid before you to make yourself useful. (AMEN!)

ARTICLE IX: You do not have the right to happiness.

Being an American means that you have the right to PURSUE happiness, which by the way, is a lot easier if you are unencumbered by an over abundance of idiotic laws created by those of you who were confused by the Bill of Rights.

ARTICLE X: This is an English speaking country.

We don't care where you are from, English is our language. Learn it or go back to wherever you came from! (lastly....)

ARTICLE XI: You do not have the right to change our country's history or heritage

. This country was founded on the belief in God. And yet, you are given the freedom to believe in any religion, any faith, or no faith at all; with no fear of persecution. The phrase IN GOD WE TRUST is part of our heritage and history, and if you are uncomfortable with it, TOUGH!!!!

If you agree, share this with a friend. In addition, please feel free to comment below if you have anything to say or add.

No, you don't have to, and nothing tragic will befall you if you don't . I just think it's about time common sense is allowed to flourish.

Sensible people of the United States speak out because if you do not, who will?

 Poker....

Okay, I have been researching some Poker sites.

Poker.com seems to be alright so far. You have to downlaod the game and Adobe Flash player, But it doesn't take long. The site has good graphics and you can see the other players play before you jump in. Every move is listed and shown(except others cards) and you can talk to other players while playing. You can either play real money or play money games, and there are tournements.

Poker.com only has two kinds of poker to play. One is Omaha poker(hard!) and the other is Texas Hold-em Poker.

Here are the Texas Hold-Em rules:

 Texas Holdem at Poker.com

Texas Hold'em

Texas Hold'em has fast become the most popular poker game in the world. It is a type of community poker, which features a number of cards that are dealt face up in front of the dealer. These cards are visible to all players, and all players share the cards. Players can then use their own cards and the community cards to form a winning hand.

There are three variations of Texas Hold'em available at Poker.com (defined by their betting limits):

Limit Texas Hold'em (there is a specified betting limit in each game and on each round of betting)
Pot Limit Texas Hold'em (a player can bet what is in the pot)
No Limit Texas Hold'em (a player can bet all of their chips at any time)

Basic Play

1. Blind Bets
2. Deal - each player is dealt 2 cards
3. First betting round
4. The Flop - the first three community cards are dealt
5. Second betting round
6. The Turn - the fourth community card is dealt
7. Third betting round
8. The River - the final community card is dealt
9. Final betting round
10. Showdown

The Dealer Button

Texas Hold'em uses a small disc called the "dealer button" to indicate the dealer of each hand. Once a hand is completed, the dealer button moves clockwise to the next player. This ensures that each player has the chance of playing early or late and that every player gets a chance to post the "blind bets".

Note: During Single Table Tournaments the first player to get the dealer button is determined through a high card draw (each player is dealt one card; the player with the highest value card goes first. If two or more players have the same value card then they are ranked according to suit - high to low - spades, hearts, diamonds, clubs).

The Blind Bets

The player to the left of the dealer button is required to place the "small blind" (usually equal to half the lower stake) and the next player to the left is required to place the "big blind" (equal to the lower stake limit). Once the blind bets have been made, the cards are dealt and the next player to the left starts the first betting round.

Both the small and the big blinds are considered live bets and therefore the player has the option of checking, calling, raising or folding when the betting action comes back around to their position. After the flop and after each subsequent betting round, the first active player left of the button is first to act.

When a player sits down at an active table, they will be required to post the equivalent of the big blind. Also, to prevent "blinds" abuse, players are required to post the small blind and the big blind upon re-entry (returning from sitting out) to the game if both blinds are missed (only the big blind amount is posted as a live bet and the remainder is added directly to the pot). All players have the option of sitting out and waiting for the button to rotate to their position before starting to play.

The mandatory posting of the blind is in place to ensure fairness to all players; preventing players from constantly switching seats to gain a positional advantage, or from entering games in a late position and then leaving before they are required to post the big blind.

First Betting Round

Starting with the player to the left of the "big blind", they have the option to bet, raise or fold. All remaining players can then call, raise or fold. To "call" is to bet the same as the previous player. If the first player folds, then the next player will have the option to bet while the remaining players can call.

The bets in the first betting round are set at the lower limit of the stakes structure, so in a $10/$20 game the value of a bet is $10 while the raise is $20 (a raise includes a call of the previous bet plus an additional bet).

The Second Betting Round

After the flop (when the first 3 community cards have been dealt), the second betting round begins.

The first player to the left of the dealer button is the first to act (bet, raise, check or fold). Checking is to refrain from betting and is only available if no bet has yet been made in the betting round. Once a bet has been made, remaining players will only have the option to call, raise or fold. Like the first round, the second also limits the bets and raises to the lower limit of the stakes structure.

The Third Betting Round

The third betting round starts after the Turn (when the fourth community card has been dealt).

Once again, the player to the left of the dealer button begins the betting (bet, check or fold). However, this time the bets and raises are limited to the upper limit of the stakes structure. Each subsequent player can then call, check, raise or fold (a player can only check if no bet has been made).

The Final Betting Round

The final betting round happens after the River card (the final community card) has been dealt.

The player to the left of the dealer button can bet, check, raise or fold. Bets and raises are limited to the upper limit of the stakes structure. Remaining players can then call, check, raise or fold (a player can only check if no bet has been made).

The Showdown

Any remaining players will now display their two cards and the player who has the best hand wins.

Players can use a combination of their own cards and the community cards (2 player cards + 3 community cards or 1 player card + 4 community cards) or all 5 community cards (called playing the board).

If two or more players have the same hand then the pot is split equally between them.

Betting Exceptions

In Limit Texas Hold'em a maximum of four bets are allowed per player in a betting round - (1) bet, (2) raise, (3) re-raise and (4) cap. In No Limit and Pot Limit Texas Hold'em the number of times a player can raise is not limited. However, a player can not raise themselves (if a player raises and then all the remaining players call or fold, then the player who raised would not get an option to raise because they were the last to raise).

A player is declared All-In if they do not have enough chips to call. This player is eligible for the portion of the pot to the point of their final bet.

All further bets by other players go to a "side pot" which any All-In players are excluded from.

Okay, What do you think?

 Bad Coaster ride...

Boy Dies After Riding Disney Roller Coaster

Thursday , June 29, 2006

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Florida — A 12-year-old boy died after riding a roller coaster Thursday at the Disney-MGM theme park, the latest in a string of mishaps at Walt Disney World.

Michael Russell's father noticed the boy was limp as the family got off the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, said Barbara Miller, Orange County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman.

The boy was pronounced dead after he was taken by ambulance to Celebration Hospital, Disney said in a statement. No cause of death was immediately determined. State officials say he is the ninth person to die at Disney World since 2003.

The theme park said the roller coaster was operating normally, but it closed the ride pending a full investigation. A Disney Web site description of the ride says: "Zoom from 0-60 mph with the force of a supersonic F-14, take in high-speed loops and turns synchronized to a specially recorded Aerosmith soundtrack."

The sheriff's office was investigating at the scene.

A Disney spokesman said the company was assisting the family from Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Michael had gone on the ride with his parents and 7-year-old brother.

"Our deepest concerns are with the family," Disney spokesman Jacob DiPietre said.

Two people have died after going on another Disney ride: Epcot's "Mission: Space." The space simulator spins riders in a centrifuge that subjects them to twice the normal force of gravity.

Daudi Bamuwamye, 4, of Sellersville, Pennsylvania, died June 13, 2005. An autopsy determined he died of an irregular heartbeat linked to an abnormal thickening of the heart muscle that can cause sudden death.

In April, a 49-year-old woman from Germany became ill and died after going on the ride. A medical examiner's report said she died from bleeding of the brain and had severe, long-standing high blood pressure.

The ride has signs warning people with heart, back and neck problems not to ride. Epcot now offers a tamer version of the ride that does not include centrifugal force.

 Is a 'Christian Exodus' nessesary?

ChristianExodus.org is moving thousands of Christian constitutionalists to specific cities and counties in South Carolina through a series of emigrations.

The cities and counties have been selected based upon, but not limited to, the following criteria:

  1. Voter turnout in primary elections.
  2. Voter turnout in general elections.
  3. Moral nature of the electorate.
  4. Cost of living/housing.
  5. Economic and employment opportunity.
  6. Christian educational choices (including home school networks).
  7. Availability of churches.

Phase One

The first move of ChristianExodus.org members has commenced. Our research committee selected two city/county combinations for Phase One. We believe we can reestablish constitutionally limited government in these two counties with the relocation of 500 Christians to one and 2,000 to the other. That number of activist émigrés, when combined with the present Christian electorate, will enable constitutionalists to win the city council, the county council, elected law enforcement positions, and elected judgeships. We will then be able to protect our God-given and constitutionally protected rights within our local community.

Initial goals:

  1. 2,500 members in our Phase One counties by September 30, 2006.
  2. Work several local political campaigns in 2006 (election goals set at that time).
  3. Move thousands more members into South Carolina by September 30, 2008.
  4. Complete Phase One by end of 2008.

Additional Phases

Phases will be complete upon a return to the counties of all "the powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States," as announced by our Board of Directors. Subsequent emigrations will begin with the completion of each Phase. For example, the first 2,500 members will successfully execute Phase One. A second group of members will then move to another city and county (Phase Two). Then the third set of members will relocate to yet another city and county (Phase Three). ChristianExodus.org will continue this process until the General Assembly of the State is squarely in the hands of Christian Constitutionalists. It is possible that previously selected cities and counties may need to be reinforced with new members; therefore subsequent Phases may also include previously chosen cities.

Distinct phases enable members to commit to move when they feel most comfortable. Some folks are ready to go today, and others will want to see some success before committing. The pioneers of Phase One will demonstrate the success of ChristianExodus.org's strategy, and provide a model for others to follow.

Intermediate goals:

  1. Complete multiple phases by end of 2013.
  2. Overwhelmingly impact the Statewide elections of 2014.
  3. Institute constitutional reforms returning proper autonomy to the State by 2016 regardless of illegal edicts from Washington, D.C.

Employment

ChristianExodus.org understands that an important concern to our membership is employment in our destination state. To help our members find employment, we have established a Jobs Board on our site and have listed dozens of employment resources in our Web Links. ChristianExodus.org will also recruit employers to hire our members as they emigrate. Different programs and incentives are currently being evaluated in the hope that we'll be able to find employment for all members who need help.

Goals

ChristianExodus.org desires the return of constitutionally limited government to the whole of these United States. Recent events suggest that no such return to constitutional principles is likely. Therefore, we will return such principles to one sovereign State by moving thousands of Christian Constitutionalists.

South Carolina can secure the rights of her citizens by interposing her authority under the 10th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. The federal government operates outside its delegated powers in the areas of education, religion, abortion, domestic behavior, intrastate communication, intrastate commerce, taxation, welfare, healthcare, gun regulation, and a host of other subjects. Most powers concerning these topics are reserved to the States under the 10th Amendment. Therefore, we will see to it that South Carolina resumes her governmental authority in these matters and that our counties and State ignore federal directives in violation of the 10th Amendment.

ChristianExodus.org will continue to move Christians into South Carolina until we possess a representative majority in both houses of the General Assembly. Such a strategy will make the sovereignty debate public, and the influence of our membership will tip the scales in favor of constitutionally limited government founded upon Christian principles.

WOW!

Is this really a nessesary solution? Please  feel free to share your feelings on the matter in the comment section.

S.R. Res. 12 Fails by one vote

What is wrong with this country?

Don't our lawmakers have ANY idea what is important anymore?

I read this and I literally cried:

Flag Amendment Fails by Single Vote
Wednesday, June 28, 2006

WASHINGTON  —The narrow defeat of a proposal to ban flag desecration marks the second time in a month Senate Republicans have lost bids to amend the Constitution in ways designed to inspire social conservatives to vote in the midterm elections.

The 66-34 tally on the flag amendment Tuesday was one less than the two-thirds, or 67 votes, required to send it to the states for ratification. The House cleared the two-thirds threshold last year, 286-130.

Sponsored by Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, the amendment read: "The Congress shall have power to prohibit the physical desecration of the flag of the United States."

Can anyone seriously tell me that our governmental law makers have got their heads screwed on the right way?

This makes me want to just throw up.

What kind of people are we that we can't even pass a law to protect the very symbol of our country from being desecrated, burned, and abused?

Why aren't we citizens in an outrage over this?

We are more interested in Connie Chung singing badly on the net,the Prez taking some foreign national visitor to Graceland, or what movie is making millions at the box office than we are about matters that impact our country!

Our forefathers must be looking down at us with tears streaming their faces at we we have become and what we have done to this wonderful country they began.

I am sadened and ashamed of my fellow americans right now.

Anyone who is in favor of the S.R. Res. 12  Amendement to save and protect our sacred flag and symbol of our beloved freedom please rise up! Call the Governmental officials in your state! Write a letter to the Prez himself about how this is wrong!

Join my outrage and do something about it!

SAVE OUR FLAG !!!!!
